A new beat for me

One of basketball’s biggest and most controversial stars will be in Charlotte tonight, and he won’t be holing up in his A-list hotel suite.

Allen Iverson, who plays for the Denver Nuggets and is known for his run-ins with both the law and NBA officials, will be hosting Club AI, a pre-game party at Jillian’s in South End ahead of the Nuggets’ matchup against the Charlotte Bobcats on Monday. Word is, there will be special guests from the Panthers and the Bobcats.
